Greg Jennings Visiting Minnesota Vikings
By Josh Sanchez
When new Denver Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker received a deal that pays him around $6 million a year and New England Patriots free agent signee Danny Amendola got a deal worth $6.1 million annually, Greg Jennings got an idea of what his salary could be for 2013. Jennings was previously hoping for a deal north of $10 million a year, but that is highly unlikely with how the market is playing out.
As he looks for a new deal and potential home for 2013, Jennings is going to a long time division rival.
Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Jennings will visit with the Minnesota Vikings today:
Jennings is the top free agent left on the market and the Vikings are in desperate need of wide receiver help after dealing Percy Harvin to Seattle. Locking up a player like Jennings, who is just 29-years-old is as close to a no-brainer as you can get.
