If I could give our readers one piece of advice, it would be to not mess with a man who tips the scales at well over 300 pounds. Unfortunately for former New England Patriots linebacker Ted Johnson, he made that mistake during an appearance on a Houston radio show. Even worse for Johnson is that the man he angered was his former teammate Vince Wilfork who has made his name in this league by being aggressive and crushing fools.
Johnson was asked by a fan on the air which one of his teammates had the ugliest spouse. He foolishly said Wilfork.
Bad move, Johnson.
Wilfork almost immediately caught wind of Johnson’s comments and went after him on Twitter.
Let me apologize to my fans in advance of whatever I may say today but I do not play when it comes to my family

Johnson smartly apologized after realizing it’s not the best idea to upset Wilfork:
I just made a huge error in judgement and want to apologize to Vince and his wife for comments I made earlier today on a Houston radio show

Vince and his family are outstanding people who I have admired since they arrived in NE. I learned a big lesson today and feel terrible.

What a dumb move by Johnson. There are some lines you just don’t cross, and one of those is talking trash about another man’s wife. You can’t blame Wilfork for getting upset and sticking up for his family, but you can be sure he will be getting some texts and phone calls from Johnson that are full of apologies. And he should.
Honestly, considering Wilfork’s mean streak on the field, it is safe to say that Johnson is getting off easy for this mistake.
