The college basketball season has come to an end and the Louisville Cardinals are the last team standing amid all the madness. The Cardinals were the favorites entering the tournament, but they fought the odds that come with the kind of pressure and managed to avoid any and all pitfalls to finish as National Champions.
Twitter exploded after the final buzzer sounded with many people congratulating both teams for a hard fought battle, but most of the Twitter action was reserved for the team of the night: the Louisville Cardinals.
Great game!! Hate their had to be a loser. Both teams were great! Congrats to Kevin Ware and the rest of L'ville

And finally, Adam Schefter who was waiving his alma mater’s pom-poms harder than he’s ever shaken anything before.
Congratulations to Michigan on a great season. Congratulations to Louisville on a championship season.

The college basketball season is over, but this is surely a game we will be talking about for sometime after the lights are turned out in the Georgia Dome and the Louisville Cardinals return home with their brand new hardware.
