Sunday Night Football is going to look a lot different in 2013. Well, at least the opening video. Faith Hill announced on Twitter that she will no longer sing her Sunday Night Football theme song to open the broadcast. It’s a sad day in America.
Here is Hill’s announcement:

Perhaps the need to find a replacement for Hill on the weekly primetime games is the real reason that the 2013 NFL schedule release has been delayed. We are catching on to you, NFL.
Since Sunday Night Football is on NBC, I would like to present a potential replacement who appears on another NBC show, “The Voice”:
I mean, who doesn’t need a little more Shakira in their life? I know I wouldn’t complain.
