With the No. 33 overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, the Houston Texans selected former LSU Tigers defensive end Sam Montgomery. After being talked about as a first-round prospect, Montgomery slid down draft boards, but the Texans recognized the talent available on the board and made him the newest member of the team.

Montgomery is a hard-working player that is going to do everything he can to make his impact felt in the NFL. As a person, he is one of the most humble people you will meet and the Houston fans will fall in love.
