John Wall, Damian Lillard and Jrue Holiday featured in Adidas Ad (Video)

In advance of the launch of the new Crazyquick basketball sneaker, Adidas released its latest ad featuring point guards, Damian Lillard, John Wall and Jrue Holiday. The ad is narrated by none other than rapper, A$AP Rocky  and features a sample of his new song “Goldie.” The video will begin to air nationally on May 1st during the remainder of the NBA playoffs.

"Adidas today debuts, “Quick Ain’t Fair,” a new marketing campaign and commercial for the Crazyquick basketball shoe. The TV spot begins airing May 1 in conjunction with the Crazyquick retail launch.Narrated by rapper A$AP Rocky and featuring his song “Goldie,” the spot captures the mesmerizing, quick moves of John Wall (Washington Wizards), Damian Lillard (Portland Trail Blazers) and Jrue Holiday (Philadelphia 76ers). The spot opens with A$AP introducing a mythical family of quicks that balled wearing an advanced shoe, the Crazyquick, which helped them dominate their opponents to reach the highest levels of the game."

The narrator, ASAP Rocky, calls John Wall the first pick of the NBA draft (2010) and Jrue Holiday an NBA all-star. Those are all true no doubt, however It’s particularly interesting that he notes Damian Lillard as the Rookie of the Year which has always been assumed since day one and will be until it’s announced officially by the league.
