The Golden State Warriors and Denver Nuggets series is one of the most heated playoff series going on at the moment, one that tops even the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs in terms of intensity. Little did we all know, the Nuggets and Warriors do not like each other, as was evidence in the previous game when things got a bit chippy.
Warriors head coach Mark Jackson didn’t condone the action, but he apparently tried to influence how the game was being officiated and the NBA has fined him $25,000 accordingly.

If Mark Jackson indeed tried to influence officiating, he didn’t do a very good job as the Warriors dropped Game 5 by a final score of 107-100, forcing a Game 6 which takes place on Thursday evening.
The NBA fining Jackson may also have been a reaction to how out of control the series is getting. From Steph Curry barking at a fan on his way out the door to Jackson’s antics which one Nuggets broadcaster deemed “classless”, the Nuggets-Warriors series is actually turning out to be the most entertaining series of the postseason.
