The Chicago Bulls were riding high after a huge Game 4 win over the Brooklyn Nets, a win that took three overtimes and 34 points from Nate Robinson to earn. But after that game, the Bulls have been plagued in the most literal sense, as a nasty bug has been making it’s way around Chicago’s locker room and has caused the Bulls to drop two straight games to the Nets, forcing a Game 7 showdown.

But  despite the recent downturn, the Chicago Bulls are trying to keep their spirits high, and center Joakim Noah isn’t letting the last two games get him down. In fact, the Bulls big man is going as far as to predict a Game 7 win for his team.

“We’re a team of fighters,” Noah said, via ESPN, after the Bulls’ 95-92 loss to the Nets. “We keep getting punched in the face but we fight back. I’m proud of this team, and we’re going to go into a hostile environment in Brooklyn and we’re going to win.”

Of course, you wouldn’t expect anything else other than this kind of prediction from perhaps the most vocal of the Chicago Bulls, but Noah may be in over his head. Chicago is playing Game 7 in Brooklyn, and the Bulls are historically awful on the road in Game 7’s as they’re currently 0-6 all-time in such scenarios.

But if there is a team equipped to win a tight game on the road with a banged up and ill roster, it’s the Chicago Bulls. They’ve played scrappy all season long and it’s largely been preparing them for a situation exactly like this one.
