NHL Playoffs 2013, Sharks vs. Kings Game 1: Start Time, Live Stream, TV Schedule And More
By Josh Hill
The first round of the NHL Playoffs are in the books which means it’s on to the conference semifinals. Both of the teams going at it on Tuesday night fought hard to get where they are but only one can survive and right now the favorite looks to be the San Jose Sharks.
It’s going to be a series based around netminding as both San Jose and Los Angeles are touting great netminders in Antti Niemi and Jonathan Quick respectively. It’s thanks to Niemi and Quick that the Sharks and Kings were able to survive which means an offensive x-factor will come into play and that’s something Los Angeles is lacking right now.
One of the hottest names in the Western Conference might be Sharks center Patrick Marleau, who has been a spark for San Jose and showed up in big moments for his team either offensively or mentally. If the Kings can take him out of the equation they might be alright, but as the Sharks proved against the Canucks, this is a deep team with a great netminder and those teams tend to go far this time of year.
So what time do the Sharks and Kings drop the puck?
