
ESPN’s Adam Schefter says that the league and the NFL Players Association is close to a deal that will move the NFL Draft from the end of April to May. The changes to the league calendar will also include moving free agency before the NFL Scouting Combine. Here is Schefter’s report:

This is great news for NFL fans because it means there will be relevant NFL news coming out earlier than before, but it is bad for NFL Draft prospects because they will end up having more time under the microscope and facing criticism.
