Baltimore Ravens legend Ray Lewis retired earlier this offseason after successfully capping off his career with a Super Bowl win this past season. Before the year began, Lewis appeared in the intro for EA Sports’ Madden 13. He gives a motivational speech to those as the video game is booting up and that speech has been reenacted by a young fan.
Jacob, who is a seven-year-old Ravens fan since birth and son of former Ravens practice squad member Josh Harris, got in front of the camera to deliver his version of the speech on YouTube. As you would expect. It is awesome.
Here is seven-year-old Jacob delivering the Madden pre-game speech:

Advantage Jacob.
I’m not sure how it took so long for this to really start receiving attention, but thank goodness it did. Let’s hope that EA Sports reaches out to this young man and gets him a new gig. If not, he’s certainly got a future as a locker room leader.
