NHL Playoffs 2013, Blackhawks vs. Red Wings Game 5: Start Time, Live Stream, TV Schedule And More
By Josh Hill
The Chicago Blackhawks are up against a wall they never imagined encountering this early in the playoffs. After posting the best record in hockey, the Blackhawks were poised to make a run at a Stanley Cup but they now are on the brink of elimination after the Detroit Red Wings have taken them to the brink of their season.
Jonathan Toews has been an issue for the Blackhawks as his consistency when it comes to losing his cool is something that’s sinking the Blackhawks. The offense has no rhythm and therefore can’t support Corey Crawford with enough runs to win games.
That’s a huge testament to how good this hockey team really is, despite drawing the 7-seed in the West. The Red Wings have a heritage when it comes to winning in the postseason and that has been on full display through four games in the series so far.
