UFC 160 is set to go down live at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in a matter of hours with the event headlined by a UFC title fight between heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez and challenger Antonio Silva. Velasquez will look to continue the run that he has been on since losing the title to Junior Dos Santos during the promotion’s debut event on FOX, while Silva has a lot of momentum behind him after scoring a devastating knockout over Alistair Overeem in his last outing.
Also on the card is a co-main event between the former champ Dos Santos and the always dangerous slugger Mark Hunt.
While the top of the card is dominated with heavyweight talent, there are two lightweight bouts on the main card that promise to bring a lot of action. KJ Noons and Donald Cerrone open the pay-per view portion of the event with a fight that should be action-packed, while red hot TJ Grant and Gray Maynard face off to determine the No. 1 challenger for Benson Henderson’s 155-pound title.
The remaining card on the bout is between top ten light-heavyweight Glover Teixeira and James Te Huna.
It looks to be a promising event.
