Many of you may remember the incident that happen just a couple of years ago at Dodger Stadium, when Bryan Stow, a San Francisco Giants fan got mercilessly beat by rival Dodger fans. Well after just over two years since the incident, Stow has been brought home from his live-in care facility. However, he was only brought home because his insurance company wasn’t going to continue paying for the treatments. While it’s nice to have him home, his family still has a lot to cope with, especially since now they have to maintain the 24 hour care for Bryan, but only by paying people to look after him, with money they don’t really have.

But there is still a light at the end of the tunnel, albeit may be faint. His family recently said on their website, www.support4bryanstow.com,

"At first look and during conversations, Bryan appears to be doing better, cognitively, But to be with him as much as we are, we see what others don’t. The memory problems, the use of words that do not belong, the pain he is in and the stiffness in his body that prevents him from being able to do things on his own."

For those of you that haven’t really followed the story, I’m sure you’re wondering about the men responsible for this crime. Well there are two men awaiting trial, Louie Sanchez, and Marvin Norwood; and they have both plead not guilty to charges of mayhem, assault and battery.
