NBA Trade Rumors — The Los Angeles Clippers are still in talks with the Boston Celtics, but it seems as though the two teams can hardly reach an agreement on the blockbuster deal at this point in time. Instead, the Clippers are focusing on trying to swing a deal for either Arron Afflalo or Danny Granger, according to ESPN:

"Sources say that the Clippers, meanwhile, have already engaged the Orlando Magic and Indiana Pacers in separate trade discussions headlined by Bledsoe, with Orlando’s Arron Afflalo and Indiana’s Danny Granger as the respective trade targets. Indiana, according to sources, is leaning at present toward keeping Granger for the final season of his contract in hopes that the former All-Star swingman’s return from knee surgery can help the Pacers close the gap on Miami in the East, but L.A. has been operating for months under the premise that Bledsoe, once Paul re-signs, will be dealt before becoming a restricted free agent in July 2014."

Granger is owed $14 million next year and despite his injury woes he is still a coveted player around the league. If gets healthy, he can still contribute and be a great scorer on the wing, and if he ends up getting hurt again he would come off the books in 2014.

Still, there is a possibility that Granger is dealt, especially since the Pacers want to re-sign David West and Paul George will be due for a max extension. A trade between the Clippers and the Pacers would probably include the expiring contract of Caron Butler and Eric Bledsoe, with the latter being the more attractive piece to Indiana. The Cleveland Cavaliers have also been rumored to have interest in Granger.

Granger played in just five games this season, averaging 5.4 points and 1.8 rebounds per game.
