The Dallas Mavericks meeting with Dwight Howard has just ended after 3 hours of talking. That has to be a good sign for the Dallas Mavericks and their fan base. NBC Sports Radio host Jordan Schultz cited a ‘great’ source who said that the Mavs were likely to sign the free agent center.

The Dallas Mavericks brought a contingent of Mark Cuban, general manager Donnie Nelson, head coach Rick Carlisle and superstar Dirk Nowitzki. The Mavericks were the second to last team to meet with Dwight Howard, the Los Angeles Lakers are up next.
Their contingent includes former Dallas Mavericks guard and Dirk’s friend Steve Nash. They were apparently just minutes apart from a awkward run in in the hallway.
DAntoni and Nash were about 10 minutes away from passing Cuban and Dirk in the hallway ;)
