No further details have been reported, including what “NFL policy” was violated.
Denver opens the first month of the season at home against the Baltimore Ravens, before a Week 2 trip to the New York Giants and then two games back at home against the Oakland Raiders and Philadelphia Eagles.
Without Miller, Denver could get off to a rough start in a season where they hoped to make a deep postseason run. Everyone will be keeping a close eye on Miller’s appeal process to see whether or not he will be available for the start of the season.
