PED scandals are rocking sports. Major League Baseball player Ryan Braun was suspended for the rest of the season yesterday. Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller was reportedly facing a 4 game suspension for violating the substance abuse policy, but not for PEDs.

Some players in baseball have called for stricter punishments. Some NFL players are looking forward to HGH testing in the NFL.

“For me, I’m happy,” Carolina Panthers linebacker Jon Beason told NFL Network’s “NFL AM” Tuesday. “I don’t take that stuff, so I’m more than happy to (take a test) because the guys who are taking it, if they get caught, now it’s an even playing field. It’s already hard enough to make it to the league, to stay in the league and to stay healthy in the league.”

“If we can keep it clean — and thus far, I think we’ve had the cleanest sport out of all the major sports in this country — I think it’s a good thing. So I’m looking forward to it and more than willing to comply with whatever it is the NFLPA and the league come up with.”

That kind of confidence has come back to bite players in the butt, like Ryan Braun. His denials even got his friend Aaron Rodgers in trouble for publicly defending him and betting his salary on his innocence.
