Von Miller doesn’t think he let his teammates down
By Mike Dyce
Von Miller has found himself in the crosshairs of the league’s substance abuse policy and facing a four-game suspension. But since the report came out Monday Von Miller has denied any wrong doing on his part. But missing four games is a big hit for the Denver Broncos defense.
“I don’t think I let my teammates down,” Miller said, via NFL.com. “Everybody has tough moments.”
The silver lining, if there is one, is that it wasn’t for PEDs. Some might not agree with that statement. Miller reportedly failed drug tests showed that he had amphetamines and marijuana in his system. The amphetamines could be Adderrall, what some have claimed is a PED.
“Is marijuana a part of your life?,” Miller shot back: “Absolutely not.”
Miller’s coach didn’t exactly defend him and avoided commenting on it when talking to NFL Network’s Michelle Beisner.
“I think right now it’s all speculation,” Broncos coach John Fox said. “It’s a confidentiality matter that we can’t comment on. … Nothing’s changed. It’s a league matter and with respect to that we’ll keep marching forward until we hear something different.”
But the hits keep coming in for the Denver Broncos this season. They’ve had three separate DUI arrests within the organization this summer.
