The New England Patriots Friday morning practice is in the books and it looks like at least one player left a lot to be desired. With all eyes on free agent signee Tim Tebow, he failed to impress those in attendance.
According to Tom Curran of Comcast SportsNet New England, Tebow wasn’t very good. In fact, Curran described Tebow’s performance as horrible.
Practice over. Tebow horrendous. #patriotstalk

When he was asked to clear up his comments a bit, Curran shared two details of Tebow’s practice performance that sounded like typical Tebow:
. @JasonPhilCole picked off at line of scrimmage by chandler jones. One hop on throw to sideline hit ground halfway there. Direct pik to 43

. @JasonPhilCole scramble in 7 on 7 to hoots from defensive sideline.

For a player that could be on the roster bubble heading in to camp, this isn’t the type of performance that you want.
To be fair to Tebow, the conditions were also horrible. There was plenty of rain coming down during the practice, but that would never be an excuse for an elite quarterback in the league. It only works for those that struggle in every environment and those that would be better off switching positions if they want any chance at success.
