The Philadelphia Phillies have three major names involved in MLB trade rumors at this point—Cliff Lee, Chase Utley and Michael Young.

Only the latter has a high chance of getting moved.

According to ESPN’s Buster Olney, the Phillies are heavily marketing Michael Young to other teams in an effort to move him before the deadline. The same cannot be said for Utley and Lee:

"Philadelphia is marketing some players aggressively, including Michael Young — but not Cliff Lee or Chase Utley."

That is not to say Utley and Lee are unavailable. In fact, Lee has a good change of getting moved if he can get his health together before the deadline. Until then not many teams are going to come calling.

Utley is a different story. It sounds like the front office is serious about getting him an extended deal, so it’s hard to imagine any trade getting done.

Moving Young makes the most sense. He has plenty to offer in an offensive manner and should net the team a good gain. It would also allow them to keep both Lee and Utley to make a serious push.

Stay tuned.
