It’s safe to say that Milwaukee Bucks general manager John Hammond is pretty excited about newly acquired point guard Brandon Knight and honestly, does anybody blame him?
"“He still has tremendous growth ahead after two solid years in the NBA. He’s a future building block to the organization because of the kind of player he is. Let’s make it perfectly clear. He’s starting point guard in the NBA.” John Hammond says about Knight in an interview"
Knight is a very good player, he has a bright future in this league for sure. But just like any other player who enters a sport, he still needs to sharpen his game. His assist-turnover ration is way too low as a point guard and his shooting numbers need some work.
He made just 43.3 percent from the field in just his 1st full month of his NBA career. I doubt his numbers will stay the same, as he has the potential to be a big name point guard in this league like Chris Paul. Now am I saying he will play exactly like Chris Paul? No, I’m not, it may or may not take him time to improve his game.
But you may see Luke Ridnour get some minutes at point guard while Knight settles in with his new team.
