To say Buffalo Bills quarterback Kevin Kolb is having a rough offseason is putting it nicely. There was a scathing report days ago that said it looked like Kolb was targeting the water cooler instead of receivers in drill.
Now there is this report about how Kevin Kolb injured himself.
#Bills QB Kevin Kolb tripped on way to main field. Trainers looked at left knee. Took off pads and headed into locker room.

Here are the mats in question where Kolb slipped. #Bills pic.twitter.com/7TOop4OuSC

That is right, Kevin Kolb essentially tripped on a rug, something meant to be walked on. When youβre in a competition for the starting gig with a rookie quarterback, who already has the edge, tripping on a mat isnβt a good start. Sitting out means more reps for your competition.
Doug Marrone says QB Kevin Kolb will be "day-by-day." Referred to it as "bumped his knee" after slipping on the mat. #Bills

Kevin Kolb tweaked his knee - he's going to be day to day, said D Marrone. Not serious but lots more reps for EJ coming up.

As E.J. Manuel gets more reps I guess Kolb can practice holding the clipboard.
