Philadelphia Eagles coach Chip Kelly still refuses to reveal who he thinks the starting quarterback will be when the 2013 season begins (personally, I’m still hoping it’ll be Dennis Dixon; if there is any justice in the world, it’ll be Dennis Dixon). Kelly was again asked on Sunday about the QB battle between Michael Vick and Nick Foles, and once again the tight-lipped yet motor-mouthed coach provided a non-answer.
Kelly’s response, via Pro Football Talk:
"I thought today they all played really well. I was encouraged with the entire team to come back. We had Saturday off, but I thought the energy out there today, there was a real good give and take by both sides of the ball, so I think all of them on today had a pretty good day."
Kelly went on to say that the quarterback named as the starter for the upcoming preseason game against the New England Patriots isn’t necessarily the guy who will be starting when the season begins.
Keep on doing you, Chip.
