The return of NFL football is officially here when the annual Hall-of-Fame game kicks-off every year. While it is just the preseason, it’s still the first live football between to two NFL teams to be played since the previous Super Bowl, and this year’s HOF game features the Miami Dolphins and the Dallas Cowboys at Fawcett Stadium in Canton, Ohio.
After an offseason free agency spending-spree, the Miami Dolphins believe they finally have the firepower to rise up in the AFC east and contend for a spot in the postseason for the first time since the 2008 NFL Season.
It’s seemingly another “make-or-break’ season for the Dallas Cowboys, who seem to enter every season with the “Super Bowl-or-bust” mentality, despite not having made the postseason in three straight years.
Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has already been ruled out for tonight’s contest. Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill does expect to play, and will be in for about 10-15 plays. He will however be without his newest and most-expensive weapon, receiver mike Wallace, who is sitting out due to a groin injury.
Kick-off is only seconds away, and football is finally back!
