According to Janis Carr on Twitter, Los Angeles Lakers part-owner and executive Jeanie Buss doesn’t want Kobe Bryant to rush back and compromise his health.

Kobe who suffered that torn Achilles against the Golden State Warriors, late in the season as they were getting ready for the playoffs. It was a shocking and devastating blow for the team and fans across the country as Kobe hit his free throws and limped back to the locker room, looking like he was in some serious pain.

This season Bryant seems like he is more determined than ever, this time without center Dwight Howard. Bryant said recently that he shattered the expected time table for his recovery and there’s thought he might be ready to play in time for the season opener.

However, Buss’ comments seem to throw a little bit of cold water on that idea and wants the Lakers to try to be careful and deliberate as possible with Bryant’s recovery.

Of course, with Kobe being as competitive as he is, will want to start the season opener no matter how careful the training staff is with his Achilles injury.

Mamba and the Lake Show are hoping to bounce back from last years disappointing season. By disappointing, I mean not winning the division in a long time, falling to a bottom seed, even though they had one of the best centers in the league.

Kobe is going to be Kobe and when he feels like he is 100% and ready to go, I’m sure there is nothing anybody can say or do to stop the future hall of fame shooting guard and Los Angeles Lakers great.

Looking forward to him being 100% this season.
