The Detroit Lions may be the home team in their preseason debut, but all eyes will be on the New York Jets as America gets their first chance to watch Mark Sanchez and Geno Smith battle it out in one of the most intriguing quarterback competitions in the league.
Sanchez will be getting the start in Friday night’s game and hoping to do his best to hang on to the ball and the starting job, but you can never count out the rookie who many say has been the better player during camp.
