Well, that didn’t last long did it?

The Oakland Athletics have designated infielder, recently claimed Adam Rosales for assignment once again.

So Rosales spent around three days with the Texas Rangers organization before they decided to designate him for assignment, Athletics claim him then designate him after like, a day in a half. As a baseball player, it has to be frustrating to be in this situation. Wanting to help out a baseball team, then not getting the chance to do so, pretty much playing musical chairs, major league baseball version.

Now with Rosales once again designated, the Athletics have called up right handed pitcher Sonny Gray from Triple-A Sacramento.

Gray will start against the Toronto Blue Jays today. The 23 year old right hander has a 3.42 ERA over 119 innings at the Triple-A level and could keep himself in the starting rotation even when Brett Anderson returns from the disabled list.

Last night, the Athletics absolutely crushed the Blue Jays, led by Josh Reddick who connected on three home runs. Those home runs Reddick launched out of the ball park, weren’t cheap home runs either. And when I mean cheap, I mean balls that barely clear the fence, maybe 1-2 feet. He cleared the wall by at least 30 feet.

Oakland Athletics and Josh Reddick hope to keep those bats alive and well later on today.
