The initial belief following the injury to New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s leg was that the injury was not serious and he should not miss significant time. After receiving an MRI to determine the fulle xtent of his injury, Brady and the team learned that the results came back clean and he did not suffer any structural damage.
Brady will still undergo further details tonight to determine the full recovery time for his injury.
Albert Breer of the NFL Network shed some light on the findings from Brady’s MRI:

... And the clean MRI means that Brady suffered no significant ligament damage. Doesn't mean it won't bother him, but should be fine.

Brady suffered the injury after Patriots offensive tackle Nate Solder rolled up up Brady’s leg following a bull rush from Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive end Adrian Clayborn during the team’s joint practice.
The injury scare certainly got the Internet buzzing, but it looks like there was no reason for the initial concern.
