New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady gave the team’s fans a scare and put the NFL world on hold on Wednesday when he went down during the Patriots joint practice with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Brady had offensive tackle Nate Solder roll up on his leg after getting destroyed by Bucs defensive end Adrian Clayborn, but he avoided a serious injury and is present at the team’s Thursday session.
From Field Yates of ESPN Boston:
Patriots QB Tom Brady is present at today's joint practice with the Bucs. Sporting a brace on his left knee. Teams wearing shells/helmets.

It was good news last night when the Patriots learned Brady suffered no structural damage in his injured knee. It is even better news that the team allowed him to be spotted at practice.
New England could make the decision to shut Brady down for the preseason to make sure he fully recovers from the minor injury, but the team has yet to officially announce their plans with him moving forward.
For now, Brady is considered day-to-day.
