New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady brought the entire NFL world to a stop and sent the team’s fan base in to mass panic, but it was revealed shortly after his injury that it was minor and he would be 100 percent in no time. Apparently, his knee is feeling just fine today because the team plans to run him out on to the field for their Week 2 preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
From Albert Breer of the NFL Network:
Patriots are likely to play all three quarterbacks tonite -- Brady, Mallett and Tebow -- against Tampa, per source. Brady cleared medically.

While Brady is okay to play, there is still a chance his knee could be a little tender, so we shouldn’t expect the team’s star on the field for too long.
Brady suffered the injury earlier in the week during a joint practice with the Bucs, when Tampa Bay defensive end obliterated Patriots offensive tackle Nate Solder and sent him rolling in to Brady’s knee.
Luckily, disaster was avoided.
