The United States women’s national team is preparing for a game on September 3 against heated rival Mexico and they announced their squad for the match up today.
The roster includes plenty of notable players and recognizeable names for the fans to enjoy.
With the likes of Alex Morgan, Hope Solo, Sidney Leroux, Megan Rapinoe and Abby Wambach, this team can do some serious damage against Mexico.
Morgan did injure herself back on August 7, but there is still a chance she could compete in the game.
“We will evaluate Alex’s recovery from her injury when she comes into camp,” coach Tom Sermanni said, via the Washington Post. “At this point, the most important thing is that she is completely fit and healthy. If our medical staff says she’s ready to play, then she’ll play.”
