Denver Broncos defensive back Champ Bailey has been out with a foot injury but returned to practice Tuesday. His participation in the the practice was sparse participating in a few drills.
The Denver Broncos open the season on Thursday night against the defending Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens. USA Today’s Lindsay Jones said she expects him to be listed as “limited.” That means the Broncos might not know Bailey’s status or availability till pre-game warm ups even, the very definition of a game-time decision.
“It’s my feet, so I have to make sure I’m making a smart decision,” Bailey told USA TODAY Sports. “It just depends on how it feels. There is a fine line there – you don’t want to risk it getting worse, but I definitely don’t want to miss any games either.”
The Broncos defense will want to have Bailey on the field.

Champ is probably going to be listed as limited -- but he's not doing much during individual drills.
