Last night Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning put on one of the greatest quarterback performances in the history of the NFL last night. Manning completed 27 of 42 passes for 462 yards and 7 touchdowns. Oh yeah, zero interceptions too.
So imagine Manning coming down stairs in the morning and wanting to check out the praise sports writers were bestowing upon him in the newspaper. He opens it and sees this:

Wait? John Elway threw 7 touchdowns? To who? On what team?
This comes from the Columbus Dispatch, according to the Big Lead. They pointed out that the online version of the story got the title correct. I guess no one can escape the shadow of John Elway. Not Tim Tebow, and not even Peyton Manning. Some people just have a hard time letting go.
I bet this will be fun for the Broncos this week in team meetings.
