The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are kicking off their 2013 NFL season against the New York Jets and it appears that they are channeling their inner turnover machine in an attempt to one-up the Jets and the turnover woes of their own.

On their first drive of the season, Tampa Bay quarterback Josh Freeman was waiting for a snap that eventually went right by him and out of the back of the endzone.

He was just one butt fumble away from besting the Jets at the turnover game.

Surprisingly, there have already been plenty of mistakes early in the season. In fact, that was the third safety of opening Sunday — the Titans gave up a safety on the opening kick off, while the Chiefs gave up a safety by having a blocked punt fly out the back of the endzone.

That’s what you get on Week One, but it sure is great to have football back.
