Michael Vick and Chip Kelly’s new Philadelphia Eagles offense easily handled the Washington Redskins in a 33-27 win on the road. There was some concern that a couple of runs where Vick lead by diving head first were to risky given his health issues. Nevertheless the offense looked incredible as it marched up and down the field.
“I just like what we do,” said Vick, who took some big hits and was hobbling after the game according to CSN Philly. “I feel confident and comfortable with everything that Coach Kelly calls. We sit down and go through the game plan and make sure that everyone knows what we’re trying to do. It don’t get any better than that. We just have to keep working and continue working our tempo and doing things fast and making sure we’re on top of everything.”
Vick finished with 257 total yards including a 36 yard scramble.
“It was a crazy game,” Vick said. “I’ve never been a part of anything like it.”
