Marian Catholic High (Ill.) point guard Tyler Ulis is one of the top prospects remaining on the board in the hoops class of 2014, and his recruitment is winding down now that he knows when he’ll be making a decision as to where he’ll commit to. Ulis, a top-30 prospect nationally and one of the top players left in a stacked 2014 class, will announce his college choice on Friday at approximately 7:20 pm, live on High School Cube News. Ulis’ announcement will take place right before Marian Catholic’s football team hosts Carmel. The decision will be live streamed on High School Cube News.

The recruitment of Ulis took a drastic turn recently when he received a scholarship offer from the University of Kentucky basketball team. Head coach John Calipari offered Ulis last month during an unofficial visit to Lexington, and he’ll return for an official visit on Monday. He is also considering Iowa and Michigan State. He’s taken official visits to all three schools, and his last visit was to UK during their annual Alumni Game on Monday, and the Cats are viewed as the favorites for Ulis.

Don’t let his 4-star rating turn you off. He’s as good as any point guard recruit there is in the 2014 class, and all you need to do is watch this highlight reel and you’ll think just as much:
