Dallas Cowboys’ franchise player, defensive end, Anthony Spencer has returned to practice for the first time since his July 25th knee surgery. The Cowboys are eager to have him back and see what he can do in Monte Kiffin’s new defense.

Cowboys DE Anthony Spencer does appear to have a brace on his left knee. It's his first practice since his July 25 surgery.

My favorite chronicling of Spencer’s return to practice comes from 105.3 The Fan’s Mike Fisher.

George Selvie did well against the New York Giants filling in for him and he is continuing to work with the first team while Spencer works with the second team.
Anthony Spencer not working first team. Would guess he will be listed as limited today.

Anthony Spencer is in full pads, but George Selvie continues to work with starters.

Spencer is also wearing a brace on his knee. Not necessarily a bad idea to protect his knee.
