Surprise, surprise. Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive back Darrelle Revis is reportedly unhappy. According to FOX Sports, Revis is not happy with the tactics from head coach Greg Schiano and the environment that it has created with the team.
Schiano is not the players coach that Revis is used to playing for during his time with Rex Ryan and the New York Jets, so he appears to be having a hard time adjusting to the strict ways of the former Rutgers head coach.
“Schiano’s rules are a little too strict for [Revis] after coming from Rex Ryan,” Mike Garafolo said in the FOX Sports report. “Also, not playing enough man coverage.”
Revis spent most of the team’s Week 2 match up lined up against Kenny Stills and playing in zone, which is not his preference and it seems to be wearing thin on the former All-Pro cornerback.
When you couple this with reports that quarterback Josh Freeman is unhappy and may request a trade, it is safe to say that Tampa Bay could be in for a circus in the locker room and a very long season ahead.
