Breaking Bad ‘Ozymandias’ breaks ratings record

If you are one of the millions of Breaking Bad fans that watched last week’s episode, “Ozymandias,” you were a part of a record breaking night in the show’s history. The numbers are in front season 5, episode 14 and, not only was “Ozymandias” one of the best episodes of any television series that we have ever seen, it was the most watched episode in the show’s history.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the episode brought in a whopping 6.4 million viewers. 4.1 million of those viewers were adults from ages 18-49. It is a stunning number for an already record breaking season. The average episode of the final season of Breaking Bad has brought in 5.2 million viewers.
As another sign of the show’s great reach, the episode caused 604,765 tweets to be generated from fans and viewers.
Breaking Bad has done an unbelievable job at giving us exactly what we could have asked for as the series reaches it’s final stretch and we can’t wait to see what the show has in store for everyone throughout the final two episodes.
Buckle up, everyone. It’s going to be a wild ride.
