4. Charles Clay-TE-Miami Dolphins (0.8%)

Clay has opened with a pair of five-catch performances going for 109 yards in week 2 against the Colts. He also got a goalline carry which he effectively punched in from the one-yard line giving owners another reason to like his game going forward.

The Dolphins offense has looked good in their 2-0 road start to the season under Ryan Tannehill (more on him later), and Clay has been a big part of the attack. Only Mike Wallace had more receiving yards for Miami than the Tulsa product in week 2.

Next week, the Dolphins take their talents to South Beach for their home-opener. They’ll take on the Falcons in what could quickly turn into a shootout after Atlanta’s D was beaten for 352 passing yards and three passing touchdowns by the Rams this week.

Clay is still a bit of a stretch as a TE1 but if you need depth at the position or are in a two-tight end league, he’s definitely worth a roster spot to see if he continues to have goalline responsibilities along with his solid receiving numbers
