From ESPN Wisconsin:
"Finley has been bothered by a toe injury since last week. He took last Wednesday off, too, then practiced Thursday and Friday before playing on Sunday."
Keeping Finley healthy is clearly a priority for the Packers. So far this season he has caught 11 passes for 121 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also has got 5 first downs. His receiving yards number being fairly low for two games could be a result of the toe injury that is limiting him. By withholding him from practice they could try to let it heal with an extra day of rest.
