Danny Granger is feeling good about his rehab. He sees himself ready to hit the court in the preseason since he’s return to court date is October 5th. Story comes from Pro Basketball Talk.

While he’s a good player and has been the best player on the team for quite some time, Paul George’s emergence as a star will most likely lessen Granger’s role on the team. There are some that say the Pacers should move on from him and his contract. I think he can still be an asset on the team with his scoring punch.

Anyway, on an interview with Dime magazine, he talked about where he was on his rehab timetable as well as when he thought he would be able to play. Let’s just hope he can stay on the court. His past two seasons have been very rough on his knees but, again, he can definitely be an asset to the Pacers team. Is he needed to make the leap past the Heat? Maybe. We’ll have to wait and see if he can fit with the roster. If he can, watch out.
