Florida State shirt depicts Jameis Winston as Jesus (Photo)

Florida State’s young quarterback Jameis Winston has burst onto the college football landscape this season. In two games he has completed 40 out of 45 passes (yeah, I know it’s ridiculous) for 570 yards and 6 touchdowns and just 1 interception. He has also ran for two touchdowns.
And it wouldn’t be college football if someone wasn’t trying to capitalize of the likeness of a unpaid student-athlete.
From TMZ:
"Shades of Tim Tebow on the campus of Florida State — where someone is making major coin off t-shirts depicting FSU QB Jameis Winston as Jesus Christ, and the university is trying to shut it down … TMZ has learned. The fan, who wants to remain anonymous, tells us he sold 100 of his “Chosen One” shirts for $20 a pop last weekend. $2,000 ain’t too shabby for a few hours work. But a high-ranking source inside FSU’s Athletic Department tells us they’ve fired off a cease and desist letter to the fan … out of concern sale of the shirts could get Winston and FSU in trouble. The other issue, according to our source, is a lot of people on the Tallahassee campus just think the shirts are sacrilegious."
Personally I think the shirt is pretty classless and in poor taste. On a fashion level, and my sisters would tell you that I have no fashion sense, it seems like a really crappy shirt with a really bad graphic work, I’m kind of surprised that he sold 20.
