San Francisco 49ers’ Vernon Davis is a game-time decision according to ESPN’s NFL Insider Adam Schefter. Davis hasn’t practiced all week as he tries to rest and allow his left hamstring to recover. The injury report has officially listed him as questionable and it seems like a decision on his playing time will come right before game-time.

Vernon Davis’ brother Vontae Davis is a cornerback for the Indianapolis Colts, it his his first season with the team. Vernon Davis though had been optimistic regarding his potential to play Sunday on Friday.

From the San Jose Mercury News:

"Davis said he was simply waiting on clearance from team doctors to play. He’s played in the 49ers’ past 98 games, including playoffs. On Friday, he did individual conditioning drills on a side field as practice got under way."

Davis being a game-time decision makes starting him in fantasy leagues a risky proposition.

[UPDATE]: Davis is inactive.
