Chicago White Sox vs Cleveland Indians Game Preview
By Jason Evans
The Cleveland Indians look to continue their hot streak against the Chicago White Sox as they look to increase their one game lead over the Texas Rangers and try to tie the Tampa Bay Rays who have a one game lead over them. The Indians have won 13 in a row against the White Sox.
Last night, Alejandro De Aza and Dayan Viciedo hit home runs off Chris Perez to give the White Sox the lead in the ninth. Jason Giambi would hit a walk-off home run to give the Indians the win in the bottom half of the inning.
Dylan Axelrod will get the start for the White Sox. Axelrod gave up seven runs in just 2.2 innings to the Detroit Tigers in his last start on last Friday. Danny Salazar will get the ball for the Indians. Salazar’s last start was against the Royals last Wednesday and took the loss giving up four runs in six innings. The Indians will be without Michael Bourn for a few days with a sprained wrist.
