The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are considering resting wide receiver Vincent Jackson through the bye week. Jackson is making life hard on his coaches by pushing to play and is reportedly deciding whether to take a pain killing shot to make life easier.
VJax is pushing to play, but Bucs may let him rest through the bye. He's deciding whether or not to take a pain-killing shot to tough it out

Jackson is dealing with what has been called a “5-week” rib injury. We’ve seen quarterbacks, like Tony Romo recently, play through rib injuries and get pain killing injections. For wide receivers it is different, they expose their ribs and can take considerably more hits there in an unprotected area. For fantasy owners, that injury coupled with rookie Mike Glennon getting the nod should make you wary to start him.
Getting lots of questions about Vincent Jackson. The rib injury sounds truly limiting, and hard to trust Mike Glennon. Look elsewhere.

Remember, there is still no guarantee that he’ll play.
At this point Ray Rice, Andre Johnson, Roddy White all expected to play. Vincent Jackson will come down to how he feels in warmups
