Entering Sunday’s game against the league’s worst defense in the Washington Redskins, the Oakland Raiders and running back Darren McFadden looked poised to have big days and get the team’s second win of the year.
It looked early like McFadden was going to have a big day as the Raiders jumped out to a quick 14-0 lead, and looked ready to ride him to just their second win of the season.
But after McFadden suffered a hamstring injury that kept him sidelined the rest of the way, quarterback Matt Flynn couldn’t sustain any offensive drives, and the Raiders dropped a 24-14 contest.
Today, Head coach Dennis Allen provided some updates on the team regarding their injuries, as well as the return of wide receiver Andre Holmes:
Coach Allen said #Raiders get a week before they have to activate WR Andre Holmes, who is just back from 4-game suspension, to 53-man roster

Coach Allen said Pryor didn't play Sunday because he still showed symptoms from the concussion he suffered against the Broncos.
