Reggie Bush a more mature, complete runner
By Jason Marcum
One of the pleasant surprises of the 2013 NFL season thus far has been the play of Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush. Drafted second-overall in the 2006 NFL Draft, Bush has never manged to live up to that status, and has even received a “bust” label by many.
With the New Orleans Saints, Bush was nothing more than a glorified scat-back who was good for 40-60 receptions per year, but never received an abundance of carries due to his tendency to shy-away from contact:
"“I just remember that my head was spinning and I was trying to outrun everybody to the sideline.”"
