You never like to see a player hurt, but unfortunately it is part of the game. During the first quarter of the No. 6 Georgia Bulldogs match up against the Tennessee Volunteers, Georgia running back Keith Marshall went down with what appeared to be a serious knee injury.
Marshall, who was starting in place of injured running back Todd Gurley, took a shot directly to the right knee and immediately went down in obvious pain.
While Marshall was being evaluated on the sidelines by the medical staff, he was very emotional as his teammates attempted to console him. Shortly after, Marshall got a ride back to the locker room on a cart for further evaluation.
If you missed the hit that injured Marshall, you can see a GIF of the play below via SB Nation:

The injury didn’t look good, but we will update you with more information when the Bulldogs announce the extent of his injury.
